I love painting these up close views of horse's eyes. You can see so much reflected in them. Not only do they reflect the colors and world around them, but they also reveal the horse's inner most soul. I worked at the stables when I was younger and you always could tell a horse's intentions by looking at his eyes. One horse was such an ornery stinker! He always had a mischievous look in his eye. My favorite horse (well okay I had a few favorites) but they all had such kind eyes. Which do you have? Ornery or sweet? Or both?!

Boxed canvas does not need a frame. The sides will be painted or finished, so you can hang it immediately. I'm posting a few of these pieces priced to collect. They will look great hanging together, added into your horsey art collection, or simply hanging in a small space (office cubical perhaps?) so you can bring a bit of horsey fun to your non-horsey spaces.

All of my oil paintings are done with quality oil paints and on stretched canvas. Traditional oil paintings have a longevity surpassing many generations. This is one of the reasons I chose oil paints to ensure your painting is enjoyed for years to come. Instructions on cleaning your painting will come with the personally signed Certificate of Authenticity for your painting.

Your painting will come already stretched on stretcher bars. The last photo shows an example of the type of canvas I use. As you can see the canvas is stretched around wooden stretcher bars and stapled on the back. Shipping and handling is given the utmost care and attention so your painting will arrive in the best possible condition.
